The foundation for all of the offerings at Elysium.  Our seminar on consent, safety, and manners should be one of the first that you take.

In this 90 minute seminar, participants will learn the fundamentals of consent: how to actively give or deny it, how to obtain it and what to do if consent is not given.

Participants will, through presentation, discussion and role-playing, explore scenarios where consent must be obtained, and ways to ask for consent that leave all parties feeling comfortable, regardless of the outcome.

Participants will learn of some of the main safety protocols in the scene, including Risk Aware Consensual Kink (RISK) and SSC (Safe, Sane and Consensual).  We will explore the pros and cons of these, and other, frameworks and how they influence your preparation and participation in a scene.

Lastly, through presentation and role-play, participants will explore some of the manners required to successfully navigate a private or public event, as well as some of the manners you might find useful in private interactions.
